recipes

With the snow outside and the list of resteraunts in the newspaper that have had violations- I am starting a website that shares recipes!!! I will share the recipes I have with people and am anxiously waiting for some of you to share your recipes with me!!!

The first recipe I will share- is quick and easy to make- and very tastey!

WATERGATE SALAD

1 Box of Pistachio Pudding

1 Container of Cool Whip (if counting calories the lite cool whip works
fine)

1 Large (20 ounce) can of Crushed Pineapple (I prefer Doles but any
will work)

1 bag of Colored Mini Marshmallows

1/2 Cups of nut topping

Combine all ingredients together and spread into a oblong shaped

tupperware container. Garnish with Marishino Cherries and let set

in the refrigerator for at least two to three hours before serving. Serves 6-8 people.

DELICIOUS MEATLOAF

1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
3/4 C. catsup
2 eggs
1 chopped med. onion
1 box Stove Top Stuffing
1 3/4 C. water

Mix all above together, shape into loaf pan and bake 350 degrees for approx. 45 minutes until desired doneness.

This is the BEST meatloaf I have every eaten. You can use any flavor of stuffing mix and any brand. The seasonings and herbs in the mix makes the flavor wonderful and the stuffing gives it great texture - good hot and cold - great to heat up for sandwiches too. LOVE THIS RECIPE!

Here is another recipe that is quick and tastey!

Chili Bake Casserole

Crumble up Dorita or Corn chips on bottom of a baking dish. Take Chili (homemade or canned) and spread over top of the chips. Take Tomato Sauce and spread over top of chili- Add a layer of cheese over the tomato sauce. Bake in an oven at 350 Degrees for 15 or 20 minutes or until cheese in golden brown and bubbly. Serve while hot with a dollop of Sour Cream. Serves 6-8 people.

This is a dish I have taken to a lot of potluck etc and rarely have any left to bring back home!
